How to say "Could it be?" in Korean.
In a previous chapter we already covered suggestions such as “shall we / I?”. This form will also be used in this chapter.
Using (을/ㄹ)까요 with descriptive verbs
Section titled “Using (을/ㄹ)까요 with descriptive verbs”The previous chapter covered only action verbs, but it can also be used with descriptive verbs.
For ㅎ-irregular descriptive verbs, remove ㅎ, then attach ㄹ까요: 그렇다 → 그럴까요? (Could that be so?).
Regular ㅎ stems keep ㅎ and take 을까요: 좋다 → 좋을까요? (Would it be good?).
Asking could? or would? using (을/ㄹ)까요
Section titled “Asking could? or would? using (을/ㄹ)까요”This form can also mean could? or would?, so asking about whether something is possible or not.
내일 비가 올까요?
